EXISTING HOME INSPECTION

Purchasing a new home is one of the largest investments most people will make in their lifetime. While buying a home can be exciting, it is often emotional and stressful. That’s why an unbiased, third-party home inspection is essential—it provides clarity, confidence, and peace of mind during the decision-making process. A well-trained, experienced home inspector can save buyers thousands of dollars by identifying issues that may not have been disclosed or immediately visible. The inspectors at iNspect are trained to identify:
  • Structural and safety concerns
  • Deficiencies in major systems (roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
  • Signs of improper repairs or workmanship
  • Conditions that could lead to future problems
We encourage buyers to attend the inspection and ask questions throughout the process. This allows us to walk you through the home, explain how its systems operate, and discuss maintenance considerations.

What You Can Expect from Your Inspection Report

Our reports are designed to be clear, thorough, and easy to understand. Each report includes:
  • Detailed descriptions of findings
  • High-quality digital photos
  • A clear summary section for quick reference
  • Delivery within approximately 24 hours
  • Online access with the ability to download or share as a PDF
Allow us to help reduce your risk as you move forward with one of the most important purchases of your life. While no inspection can uncover every possible issue, our experience and commitment to thorough inspections allow you to move ahead with confidence. After the inspection, we remain available to answer questions and provide follow-up support as needed.

NEW CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION

If you are building a new home, having it inspected by a professional residential home inspector is a smart investment. While a home may be newly built, problems and deficiencies often begin to surface within the first year of occupancy. Scheduling an inspection a few weeks to a month before your move-in date allows time to notify the builder of items that require correction. In most cases, these repairs should be completed at the builder’s expense—potentially saving you many times the cost of the inspection.

Why a New Construction Inspection Matters

A new construction inspection can help:
  • Identify construction defects or incomplete work
  • Catch issues before your builder warranty expires
  • Ensure systems were installed correctly and safely
  • Provide leverage for builder-required repairs before closing
If no issues are found, you gain peace of mind knowing your new home is in excellent condition for years to come.

What’s Included in Your Inspection Report

Your inspection will be accompanied by a complete, professional report that includes:
  • Written descriptions of any deficiencies found
  • Clear digital photos for documentation
  • A report that can be used to support builder warranty claims
Your new home is a major investment in your future. Proper care and early identification of issues help protect that investment and extend the lifespan of your home and its systems. Having your home inspected increases the enjoyment of living in your new home—knowing everything is functioning as it should from day one.
